What We Do
Rise Youth Athletics provides fitness instruction and mentoring to inner city youth through a revolutionary model. We target physical literacy, the basic components of fitness, such as agility, balance, coordination, cardio-vascular endurance, stamina and accuracy. Our hour long classes focus on technical work, games, team-focused activities and structured workouts all while having a blast! Students of any level are able and encouraged to participate in our program. Each class creates an opportunity for kids to live outside their comfort zones and expand exponentially as human beings.
We offer in-school and after-school programs that work in conjunction with existing PE curriculum. It's through the development and mastery of basic skills that self-esteem grows and transcends into every aspect of a child's life arming them with the tools to take on whatever gets thrown in their path.
